New Frontier Group Welcomes UnitedHealthcare Global U.S.
February 25, 2017Managing the Unexpected
July 21, 2017Last month I had the privilege of being invited to speak at the inaugural MediGuide International Symposium on the Washington D.C. waterfront in National Harbor, Maryland. New Frontier Group is honored to be a chosen partner of MediGuide, contracted to service members of their programs.
The symposium began on Tuesday, June 6th with a beautiful welcome reception in the surroundings of National Harbor. With approximately 70 participants, I had the opportunity to make new connections and get reacquainted with past connections. Mr. Paul M. Vermeulen, CEO of MediGuide, opened the symposium with a sincere welcome for all attendees. Their medical director, Dr. Ashton, then expanded on past MediGuide cases and the company’s many achievements.
The second day of the symposium was filled with educational presentations about the various areas of expertise and specialties of the Centers of Excellence involved with the Medical Second Opinions service from MediGuide. This service is an international second opinion created and provided by MediGuide to provide their members with secondary evaluations from top physicians around the world.
On the third day, I was honored to deliver a speech alongside Mr. John Frick, R.Ph, Chairman of the New Frontier Group Medical Advisory Board. Together we discussed New Frontier Group’s partnership with MediGuide and the variety of benefits our patients have gained from this partnership. The keynote address of the symposium was given by Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. at the end of the day.
Following this symposium, I reflect positively on the work MediGuide and New Frontier Group have done together in the past and look forward to the continued productive work we will do in the future.
